This donation was made possible by leveraging the $GIVE community’s trading activity since launch via our contract-coded mechanism, withdrawn and sent to tunapanda.org/donatecrypto (more info on the charity below)
Now that Milestone #1 has been reached, we will continue to expand the message and donate to charity every week as the $GIVE community grows.
The overall function of $GIVE is that a portion of the trading fees will be withdrawn weekly via a governance vote and donated to the Charity that the community chooses.
We feel this is very important and needed as many popular tokens achieve billions of dollars in volume but none of this goes back to people in need. Until now…

Our first GIVE recipient: Tunapanda
To kick things off, the GIVE dev team selected and donated to the non-profit organization Tunapanda to be the first charity to receive our support.
Tunapanda is a Swahili word meaning ‘we are growing’ and is the name of a non-profit social enterprise that runs intensive multi-month technology, design, and business training courses in extreme low-income environments of East Africa.
